Normani did not come to play when she showed up at the annual Hollywood Beauty Awards in support of hairstylist César DeLeön Ramirêz. Get into her fierce look, plus peep pics of Ice Cube, Kiki Layne and more….
Now, Normani knows she didn’t have to do us like this with this SLAYAGE! But, we’re glad she did.

Normani was there to support winner & celeb hairstylist César DeLeön Ramirêz. She dazzled in a bomb Yousef Aljasmi Haute Couture see-through gown. And – of course – her hair was laid, thanks to César, who ended up winning The Stacey Morris Hairstyling Award.

Last night was truly a dream come true. I’m so humbled and honored by the recognition, the support and the love from everyone around me. I was so nervous, not to lose but more so to let you all down. What no one knows is the stress I put on myself to be perfect. After meditating the night before to calm my nerves I truly got that winning or losing did not matter anymore. I already felt like I’ve won when I become present to all the amazing people in my life. I am blessed to be supported by the most loving, most giving, kindest, hardest working and beyond talented people I can imagine. In an industry where egos can take over my friends and my family showered me with love and support. What I want this award to represents is passion and ambition, to inspire other aspiring artist from Puerto Rico or any minority group where opportunities seem impossible. I wan you to understand that if we believe, if we try and if we work, we can achieve the unimaginable! This is for my people back home, we are struggling but we are fighters. Puerto Rico we are strong! I can’t thank you enough #mom @ciara @normani @crowdmgmt @ejcrowdmgmt @lee_palazzo @jenessaacosta @gabilopezhair @allantroy_ @kr8.agency @baires06 @anasafazada @michaelcostello @unite_hair @tenfiive @rokaelbeauty @loftjet @merrellhollis @yolondafrederick @hollywoodbeautyawards @dripology @caroline.desousa This would not have been possible without you.

Congrats!

If Beale Street Could Talk star Kiki Layne rocked a fashion forward white silk satin organza dress from the Nina Ricci Spring 2020 collection.
By the way, she’s starring in the upcoming Coming 2 America sequel.

She snapped it up on the carpet with celebrity hairstylist Larry Sims. They both were tapped to present.

Looking clean!
Ice Cube was on the scene to present the Outstanding Achievement in Makeup to his longtime friend/collaborator Debra Denson, who worked on all of his films from The Barbershop franchise to Straight Outta Compton.

Come through with the iridescent!
“The Neighborhood” actress Tichina Arnold joined “black-ish” star Anthony Anderson on stage to present the Outstanding Achievement in Hairstyling to barber extraordinaire, Stacey Morris.
Fab times!
