Wowzers.  It’s a chronic Monday indeed as Dr. Dre was just hit with divorce papers.  What his soon-to-be ex-wife Nicole is saying after 24 years of marriage, inside.
Can’t say we saw this one coming.  Because if homegirl was willing to stay during the tumultuous times of Dr. Dre getting called out for his allegedly abusive behavior toward women, including his singer ex Michel’le, we’re not sure what else could have caused her to suddenly be DONE done.
The singer’s 2016 Lifetime biopic didn’t appear to rattle Mrs. Nicole Young in the least bit, especially seeing that Dre never completely fessed up.  But something has her throwing up the deuces now.
Nicole filed divorce paperwork today, citing the usual irreconcilable differences as the reason for her split from hip-hop mogul Andre Romelle Young, this according to TMZ.

The couple, who tied the knot back in 1996, have two adult children together.  His daughter just finished her first year at USC.
As for what this divorce is going to look like for Nicole, she’s a lawyer by trade, so she always has that to fall back on.  That and a potential almost half billion dollar fortune.
Sources connected to Nicole say there is no prenup between her and Dre.
Dre’s net worth, according to Forbes, is estimated to stand at $800 million.  And seeing that they live in California, it’s looking like a 50/50 split of that fortune is in Nicole’s future.

While Dre typically stays out of the limelight and just makes his Beats by Dre money silently, Snoop recently shared that they’ve been back in the studio together.
Back in 2015, Dre told Rolling Stone about how he’s portrayed in the Straight Outta Compton movie:
“I have social anxiety.  I don’t like being in the spotlight, so I made a fucking weird career choice.” He laughs. “That’s the reason for my mystique and why I’m so secluded and why everybody knows nothing about me. I think it added to the character in the movie because people get a chance to see behind the curtain.”

Hmph.
